How do you think we will overcome fear of vaccines in the Somali community?

Vaccine isn't even available and I'm already seeing people on whatsapp talking about how bill gates is planting chips in there to control people. How do you think we'll be able to overcome the distrust of vaccines to get people in the community to take it and protect themselves once it's ready? Too may Somalis dying in Europe

It's a difficult one tbh. There was a huge level of distrust pre-covid and the pandemic has only widened that gap. It's important to carefully read and understand the information and research into the vaccine once its out to analyse its level of risks, benefits, etc. 

Although vaccines work by herd immunity, we cannot force people to take them. Raising awareness, promoting dialogue and information-sharing within the community is key.
